Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- NITEC / Diploma in Engineering or the equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of pumps, basic understanding of electrical engineering, technical drawings and specifications, and repair/maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of safe and proper use of hand tools, power tools in daily work activities.
- Experience in zoological institutions, commercial aquariums, or fish farms, with knowledge LSS operations, will be an advantage.
- Able to swim; confident in troubleshooting and repairing LSS underwater.
- Able to carry heavy loads.
- Able to work independently while being an excellent team player.
- Willing to work on shift, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with operation, monitoring, maintenance, and repair of the Life Support System (LSS):
o Follow scheduled routine for LSS mechanical checks.
o Maintain familiarity with all aspects of the LSS, including electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
o Assist in the maintenance of aquatic LSS.
o Assist in the fabrication and repair of LSS.
- Work with other stakeholders to ensure exhibits are clean and well-maintained.
- Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations and policies.
- Ensure proper recordkeeping and documentation.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
