We are currently looking for a Supervisor to join our Infrastructure Team in Penrose. In this role you will be responsible for providing efficient co-ordination and supervision to ensure customer requirements are met in a safe and efficient manner on multiple maintenance contracts within the region. If you are a highly motivated, energetic, quick-thinking individual with the ability to effectively lead a team and to ensure all work, contracts and project plans are carried out to required levels of service, then we want to hear from you! This role reports to the Auckland infrastructure Manager and is diverse and incorporates a good mix of field and office-based work and is primarily focused on communicating with staff, suppliers and clients in person or via phone or email.

Responsibilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, if successful you will spend the majority of your day on the phone, email and meeting/discussing jobs with clients and staff. Typing and good spelling/grammar advantageous.
- Electrical Trade qualification with appropriate registration with the EWRB and a current practicing license. From time to time you will need to step in and get on the tools but most importantly you need a solid understanding of the trade to answer questions from staff (electricians and apprentices)
- A current driver’s license.
- Strong customer service skills and calm under pressure
- A background in maintenance and fault finding would be advantageous.
- People skills and a friendly helpful nature are a must, this is a VERY people-oriented role. We currently have a great team that work well together, the right personality for this role is crucial.
