QUALIFICATIONS:

Three year university degree in political science, public administration or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Over six months up to and including one year related experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS ARE NECESSARY:

  • Working knowledge and understanding of the Municipal Elections Act.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and various software.

Responsibilities:

Reports to the Manager, Elections, Strategic Integration & Policy. Supervises the Election Services Unit. Oversees and supervises all aspects of Municipal Elections. Assists with Election Services budget coordination and performs research and a variety of financial related duties.
