QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or related clinical field
• Certified Mental Health Screener or previous experience to be immediately eligible for Screening Certification
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• Valid NJ Driver’s license

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:

• Full-Time
• Evening Shift
• 40 hours per week

• Acts as liaison to community agencies, law enforcement and patient s families to effect outreach within the geographic area of Monmouth County.
• Participates in providing annual community-based education to Monmouth County agencies. Participates in behavioral health education projects i.e., MMC Behavioral Health Conferences
• Provides direct patient care on-site and off-site during high volume
• Responsible for supervision of mobile practicum for designated Screening Centers. Supervises the triage of in-coming clients to maintain timely flow of patients from Emergency Department to PESS. Assigns cases to staff members as appropriate
• Supervises and develops the implementation of treatment plans for patients based upon the team assessment
• Performs other duties as required
