As Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing life safety, environment of care and any work necessary to maintain the service life of company assets such as physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, utilities, and grounds in an operative and safe working condition. Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Two-year college degree in a technical science/trade or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Five years experience in maintenance personnel/operations supervision, required. Healthcare facility and maintenance/operations experience, preferred.
- Additional Skills (required): Extensive knowledge and abilities in management and oversight of facility maintenance and operations. Thorough knowledge of principles in design, operation and repair of all types of mechanical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning equipment. Knowledgeable of applicable codes and standards including NFPA, OSHA, JCAHO, State oversight and Local AHJ. Good analytical, critical thinking and diplomacy skills. Basic knowledge of general accounting procedures. Skill in data analysis, organization and presentation. Basic knowledge in reading and understanding blueprints and schematics. Ability to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Ability to work effectively with physicians, administration, other departmental directors, nursing and outside agencies. Valid driver’s license required.
- Additional Skills (preferred): Strong leadership skills such as creativity, innovation, cooperation, loyalty, independent judgment, adaptability, perseverance. Ability to delegate. High energy level. Perceptive, strong work ethic.
