Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Supervisor Plant Shutdown to join our team at Greater Nammuldi to lead, coach and develop a team of Fixed Plant Shutdown personnel whilst working closely with key stakeholders to safely execute fixed plant shutdown activities at a site level.
You’ll be part of a high performing team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work a family and lifestyle friendly 8 days off, 6 days off roster, with some flexibility around shut periods which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Superintendent Plant Maintenance you will:
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
- Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
- Organise and manage the preparation and execution of Fixed Plant Shutdown work in compliance to the Rio Tinto Shutdown Procedure
- Be responsible for Fixed Plant Shutdown training, safety compliance, scheduling and productivity
- Manage Fixed Plant Shutdown activities to maximise productivity while minimising cost and environmental impact
- Define staffing and development needs of Fixed Plant Shutdown
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to operations while maintenance and improvements are being performed
