Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, or a related field.
- Valid Standard First Aid/CPR/AED Level C Certificate.
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a similar program or service.
- Experience working with youth and/or adults experiencing disabilities.
- Experience writing grant applications and reporting functions of funding agreements.
SKILLS:
- Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement program plans and budgets.
- Proficient using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to relate effectively with people with disabilities in a professional manner.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in behavioural programming and interventions.

Responsibilities:
The Supervisor, Quality of Life Services, will oversee the Regina Branch Quality of Life Services, focusing on the Supported Independent Living Program (SILP), ABI Life Enrichment Program, Social Leisure Youth Program (SLYP-Out), and Summer Fun Programs. This role includes direct supervision of staff, program development, and ensuring that all programs meet their objectives and contract outcomes. Work will be required outside of typical business hours at times to provide supervision and support to responsible program areas.
Duties include:
- Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of various programs within area of responsibilities.
- Ensure programs meet objectives and provide high-quality services to clients.
- Manage program budgets and complete funding and grant applications.
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers.
- Provide day-to-day supervision and work assignments for direct reports.
- Monitor the development of client profiles and person-centred plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation and data collection.
- Generate awareness and promote SaskAbilities services to the community.
- Develop professional relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and referral agencies.
