To continue to support the work that we do, the Agency is looking for a full-time Supervisor-Records Management to join our Research and Quality Improvement team.
This position is responsible for the oversight and development of efficient, service-driven business decisions and practices to ensure that high quality and easily accessible data is available in all agency information systems related to client material. This role will support the alignment of standards of practice related to the Child Protection Information Network (CPIN) through education and support of employees. It will also be responsible for overseeing document storage processes in CPIN and internal client data repositories, and the team supporting these processes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Related Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of five years relevant experience
- Experience/Knowledge of the Ontario child welfare system including excellent knowledge of CPIN preferred.
- Understanding of data management practices including data privacy regulations, ETL processes, data security protocols, and best practices
- Experience with data governance, business intelligence and data reporting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including training and educational skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users.
- Effective organizational skills with a focus on problem-solving and task prioritization
Employment at Family & Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region is conditional upon the verification of credentials and employment, a satisfactory police check, and a satisfactory Child Welfare check.
Salary Range: $83,806.74 - $105,411.87 per annum (Management and Excluded, Grade 14)
