POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are going through an exciting period of growth here at SV Partners with multiple opportunities available across the firm nationally.
Our Melbourne office is currently looking for a Supervisor to Senior Manager in Insolvency. This is a dynamic and challenging role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency matters. As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will manage a team of insolvency accountants alongside your Director and participate in business development and networking activities to assist in your own career development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Law or similar;
  • Minimum 6 years experience across personal and corporate insolvency;
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills;
  • Proven time management skills with exceptional attention to detail;
  • People management experience, or be a motivated Supervisor ready to take that next step in your career;
  • Possess an in depth knowledge of the Corporations Act, Bankruptcy Act and relevant insolvency law;
  • CA/CPA qualification.

In addition, it would be a bonus to have:

  • ARITA qualification;
  • Experience in MYOB Insolvency or MYOB Suite;
  • Prior experience in business development;
  • Knowledge of Power BI, FYI Docs or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
