Supervises and coordinates daily operations of surgical suites and provides leadership in assigned

service line(s). Ensures implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care.

• Supervises operating room (OR) operations and serves as an expert for the assigned specialty or serviceline(s). Ensures proper communications occur with the OR and other units.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned serviceline(s). Oversees processes and procedures to guarantee efficient, effective and safe delivery of healthservices.
• Works collaboratively with physicians, leadership and staff to develop and implement streamlinedoperations where equipment, supplies and staff are utilized efficiently and resourcefully.
• Maintains clinical competency and may serve as a front-line staff member as needed.
• Provides input for hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
