SUPERVISOR

Reporting to the VP-Production Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for managing production in support of his or her team leaders, and for taking charge of human resources, health and safety, and continuous improvement projects for his or her departments, which number some 30 employees. To this end, he or she performs the following tasks:

REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in production management in a manufacturing environment;
• College or university training in management, engineering or any other discipline deemed relevant;
• Any training in health and safety, quality and continuous improvement is considered an asset.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Recognized as a positive leader;
• Have a strategic and analytical vision of your departments;
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence and political acumen;

• Demonstrate managerial courage;

• Good time management and ability to work in an environment where priorities can change rapidly - flexibility and agility;

• Bilingualism (strong asset);

• Good computer skills (Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and ERP system);
• Focused on continuous improvement and familiar with the basic principles of lean manufacturing;
