Description:
CSL Behring is currently recruiting for a Supervisor ( Visual Inspection ) to join our team ( Visual Inspection) at Broadmeadows site.
The Visual Inspection Supervisor is required to partner with the broader operations team to execute the requirements of the operations schedule in a safe, stable, GMP compliant and cost-efficient manner and follow the established procedures and methods of manufacture with a focus on live process and product, to ensure the quarterly Manufacturing Schedule is met.
As a Supervisor you will ensure assigned operational teams and employees are trained and competent, follow ‘standard work’, procedures and methods of operations, ensuring products are manufactured according to quality, cost, quantity and process cycle times as per the Operations schedule.
Reporting to the Manager Operational Services Visual Inspection and Packing you will work onsite and will liaise with the Coordination Officer and Site Operational Services, enabling effective ways of working and performance outcomes across the operations.
Please note: This is fixed term role (maternity leave cover) until April 2026.
Shift would be fortnightly rotation between day shift and afternoon shift. 6:30 – 14:21 and 14:09 – 22:00.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 3+yrs experience working in a production environment.
- Superior technical skills in Manufacturing and Quality process and systems. •Experience within a pharmaceutical or allied industry involving line leadership.
- Experience providing coaching/support to junior roles.
- Extensive knowledge of cGMP and CFR’s.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise team activities and resources to ensure adherence to the manufacturing schedule. Highlight any schedule risks to stakeholders promptly.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP principles and regulatory standards in all manufacturing environments.
- Perform production activities to meet the schedule efficiently and consistently, notifying the Manager of any risks.
- Ensure products, facilities, and processes adhere to approved policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Provide timely input into investigations, CAPAs, and partner with operational services on root cause analysis, risk assessments, change controls, and manufacturing assessments.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and modelling safe working behaviours, collaborating with operations, EHS, and human resources teams.
