Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement access to care (template management, referral process, call center) policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Advise Commander regarding access to care, clinical performance, and the utilization and design of health services.
  • Assess the organization’s performance and identify gaps in the organization’s ability to meet mission requirements and standards of service.
  • Use a variety of web-based systems and tools to optimize the clinical business performance and program/metric compliance at the Medical Center.
  • Use automated health care systems to evaluate productivity, effectiveness, and compliance with medical appointment and referral program objectives.
  • Supervise the organization’s continued compliance with access to care standards by managing analysts, a central template management cell, a centralized referral process, and a call center.
  • Provide guidance to the Chief, Clinical Operations Division and the Commander to support manning and funding decisions for the annual budget.
  • Provide first and second level supervision over U.S. Civilian and Local National employees, and technical supervision for military service members.
