Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises a government workforce of high performing information Technology project managers.
  • Review programming documents received from higher headquarters to determine effects on assigned projects through analysis and evaluation of current programs.
  • Provide team with management expertise in the areas of engineering, materiel management, procurement, supplies and configuration management.
  • Serves as principal advisor to the Chief of Management and Engineering Division (MED).
  • Maintain continuous contact with the industry engaging them in activities of interest to strategic and other non-tactical communication.
  • Present briefings and consults with industry and institutions on technology and procedures as they relate to telecommunication in general and assigned projects.
  • Work closely with engineers, contracting officers, logistician, financial, and security experts within organic organization and the supported customer organizations.
