Webasto is looking for: Supplier Development Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed technical studies or technical vocational training with further qualification as a technician and specialist further training (e.g. quality management)
• Experience in the productive environment “Operation” (purchasing, logistics, production), at least 2 years of professional experience in the field of quality
• Experience in the application of automotive-specific standards and quality methods in Tier 1 and Tier 2 environments
• VDA auditor or similar qualification with more than 3 years of experience
• Very good knowledge of English and a willingness to travel on business

• Responsibility for approval, assessment and further development of series suppliers
• Planning, implementation and follow-up of audits, supplier visits, action plans and technological and production system roadmaps.
• Responsibility for and implementation of the escalation process
• Responsibility for supporting suppliers in improving business and production processes and defining and tracking action plans
• Further development of systems and processes in the sense of “out of the box” around supplier development
