Description:
THE VACANCY
Alliance Automotive Group are a leading distributor of light and commercial vehicle parts to the independent aftermarket in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal. With over 230 locations within the UK and growing, our network supplies light and commercial vehicle parts to over 36,000 independent garages, fast fit centres, and transport operators throughout the UK. Alliance Automotive Group are proud to be the home of the NAPA Racing UK British Touring car team.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Supplier Manager to join our team in the automotive workshop equipment division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating communication and collaboration, while also managing various stakeholder relationships and overseeing key aspects of brand development, promotion and technical support.
Areas of Responsibility will include:
- Serve as the primary conduit between Alliance Automotive and supplier, ensuring effective communication and alignment of brand strategies.
- Manage stakeholder relationships to support initiatives such as new product introductions, product lifecycle management, competitor benchmarking, and price file management.
- Provide inventory support, including the creation and tracking of sales promotions.
- Develop and implement marketing collateral to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate sales van workouts and support the execution of internal and external events.
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
The Ideal candidate is likely to have (Desirable):
- Experience in the automotive workshop equipment industry.
- Previous experience building internal engagement.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in IT tools and software for data management and analysis.
