Our quality department for Ingredients is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in quality. Is this you? Please read on.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supplier assessment and management according to Intersnack Group and Procurement procedures. To ensure compliance, regular supplier quality audits and technical visits and supplier development based on performance measures are key.
• Support that materials are delivered to the Intersnack factories within agreed quality, food safety and technical specifications. Manage relationships with Intersnack factories / Operating Companies (OpCos). Handle and resolve quality and food safety issues and complaints and give feedback to OpCos, aiming to reduce raw materials quality complaint levels.
• Ensure the risk-based monitoring program is carried out effectively and efficiently.
• Carry out Risk and Food Fraud Assessments for the designated categories.
• Work together with Buying Managers to jointly drive and implement category strategies and achieve the Intersnack Procurement targets.
• Agree raw material specifications with suppliers and OpCos.
• Manage all Supplier Quality Assurance systems and the data therein, ensuring information and documents stay up to date.

WHAT MIGHT QUALIFY YOU FOR THIS ROLE?

• Bachelor / Master of Science degree in a science-based field (e.g. Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Food Quality Management, Microbiology, Chemistry);
• Preferably more than 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance, Quality Management or similar, in the FMCG and/or food industry.
• Knowledge of Quality management systems and GFSI schemes (BRC/IFS/FSSC);
• Knowledge of current (EU) legislation, relevant to food manufacturing, is preferred.
• Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and preferably database management.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in high complexity, multicultural organizations.
• Attention to detail, good planning, time management, conflict management and communicative skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, problem solver with knowledge of project management.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• Valid driving license.
