For the expansion of our production site for automotive glass (roofs, windshields and rear windows) in Grevenmacher (Luxembourg), we are looking for committed colleagues (f/m/d) who will help shape our success story with their expertise and passion.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Regularly visit suppliers and conduct supplier quality system – and process audits, manage specific quality issues, lead on-going quality and manufacturing improvement projects
  • Collect and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain
  • Collect and maintain supplier performance metrics within the supplier quality scorecard
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to ensure awareness of known purchased part or product quality issues
  • Identify repeating quality issues of suppliers and lead actions for improvement
  • Communicate and instruct suppliers on the use of a corrective action process and quality tools & techniques
  • Manage supplier contracts in terms of quality requirements
  • Perform market research and benchmarking for suppliers and components to drive “best value” concept
  • In collaboration with Program Management and Quality, defines project timing, Q characteristics, measurement system etc.
  • Follows the development of purchased parts or processes at supplier
  • Supervise small team

Here’s what you can bring to the team:

  • Academic degree in business administrations, economics, engineering or a related subject area
  • Solid background in Quality/Purchasing; preferable in an OEM or Tier 1 automotive manufacturing role
  • Knowledge of industrial norms and Quality requirements
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer interface skills
  • Proficient in quality tools such as 8D, PFMEA etc
  • Certified auditor VDA 6.x is considered a strong asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid Driver’s License (B)
  • Fluent in English (French and/or German are a plus)
