Description:
KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA):
- Supplier Performance Improvement: Achieve a specified percentage increase in supplier performance metrics (e.g., delivery times, quality scores) within a defined period.
- Cost Savings: Identify and implement process improvements that result in measurable cost savings from supplier contracts and negotiations.
- Supplier Satisfaction: Maintain or improve supplier satisfaction scores through effective relationship management and communication.
- Compliance Rates: Ensure a high compliance rate in supplier evaluations and audits, aiming for a target percentage of compliant suppliers.
- Reporting Accuracy: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of supplier performance metrics for management review.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze performance data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supplier management software.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with contract management processes.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and service excellence.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, including Risk Key Indicators (RKI), and prepare reports for management review.
- Support the negotiation of contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate effective communication and resolve supplier-related issues.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to assess compliance with quality standards and RKI.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supplier network.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier interactions, contracts, and performance metrics.
- Stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Participate in training and onboarding of new suppliers.
