Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Supplier Scheduler 2 in New York, New York. As a Supplier Scheduler 2, you will be pivotal in managing supplier onboarding, offboarding, and reporting activities. This role falls within the industry of procurement and sourcing, and your role will be to ensure all supplier-related processes are executed effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage new supplier onboarding requests, ensuring all necessary steps are completed before supplier approval.
  • Support supplier diversity through handling supplier diversity surveys and aiding in reporting activities.
  • Drive supplier analytics and reporting initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure supplier onboarding/update forms are fully and accurately completed by both internal employees and suppliers.
  • Handle supplier onboarding modification and offboarding requests promptly.
  • Ensure all requested supplementary onboarding documents are submitted by suppliers and are legible and correctly completed.
  • Review reports assessing the potential risk associated with new supplier requests.
  • Validate payment instructions by performing callbacks to suppliers.
  • Enter banking instructions accurately into our ERP system and ensure approval in a timely manner.
  • Communicate proactively with internal employees and suppliers to obtain any additional information vital to supplier management activities.
  • Mitigate any Supplier Management items causing delays in the purchasing or payments process.
  • Educate internal employees on supplier onboarding processes and procedures.
  • Work with our Financial Systems team to update supplier questionnaires and workflows as supplier information requests evolve.
  • Encourage suppliers to join our Coupa Supplier Portal for automated invoicing.
  • Complete all credit application requests with accuracy.
  • Manage supplier scope changes and updates in partnership with the AP & internal stakeholder teams.
  • Collaborate with the Tax team in year-end reporting and tax resale certification.
  • Partner with Procurement team to minimize siloed engagement of service providers with redundant capabilities.
  • Promote cross-functional visibility across the supplier due diligence processes and encourage information sharing across teams to maintain uniform processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in data entry, reporting, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with procurement procedures and sourcing techniques.
  • Experience in invoice processing and payment processing.
  • Proven ability to review and perform due diligence on suppliers.
  • Knowledge of various tax implications related to suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with ERP solutions, specifically NetSuite and Oracle NetSuite Technologies.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience in providing workstation support and onboarding new suppliers.
  • Ability to conduct surveys for supplier performance evaluation and risk mitigation.
  • ‘A Plus’ certification is advantageous.
