Supplies Assistant
Location: Rowley Hall Hospital, Stafford
Hours: 25 hours per work, Part-time
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Summary:
Rowley Hall Hospital is one of Staffordshire’s leading private hospitals located in a Georgian listed building in five acres of Rowley Park, only five minutes from the centre of Stafford. The hospital opened in 1987 and currently has 13 bedrooms, all with en suite facilities. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. Two fully equipped theatres with ultra clean air technology are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement and spinal surgery.
The role:
We currently have a great new opportunity for a Supplies Assistant to join our team at Rowley Hall Hospital, based in Stafford.
As an Supplies Assistant, your main responsibility will be the procurement and delivery of supplies for hospital departments. In so doing, you will be working closely with the Heads of Department in the hospital and be accountable to the Stores Manager.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Be highly motivated and flexible in your approach to your work
  • Be able to work independently and within a team structure
  • Demonstrate computer skills (particularly MS Office package); knowledge of SAP and Barcoding will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrate effective organizational skills
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills across a range of media
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Perform stock inventory as required to meet financial compliance/requirements
