We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee our supply chain operations in Auckland.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (or minimum 5 years of relevant experience).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP or Reckon Software preferred
  • Ability to operate a Reach Fork hoist &preferably hold a current Forklift License
  • A good level of physical fitness with some heavy lifting up to 25 kg
  • Good understanding of Warehouse health and safety requirements
  • Knowledge of MPI documentation would be an asset
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and manage inventory using MS Office and Reckon Software.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Process orders from the Foodstuffs Portal and manage daily dispatch and delivery operations.
  • Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to ensure compliance with supply requirements.
  • Assist with shipment container unloading and related documentation.
  • Handle MPI documentation and manage samples
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with various departments and lead staff performance initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on inventory levels, logistics performance, and operational issues.
  • Provide solutions to operational challenges and identify areas for improvement.
