We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee our supply chain operations in Auckland.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (or minimum 5 years of relevant experience).
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP or Reckon Software preferred
- Ability to operate a Reach Fork hoist &preferably hold a current Forklift License
- A good level of physical fitness with some heavy lifting up to 25 kg
- Good understanding of Warehouse health and safety requirements
- Knowledge of MPI documentation would be an asset
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and manage inventory using MS Office and Reckon Software.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Process orders from the Foodstuffs Portal and manage daily dispatch and delivery operations.
- Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to ensure compliance with supply requirements.
- Assist with shipment container unloading and related documentation.
- Handle MPI documentation and manage samples
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with various departments and lead staff performance initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports for management on inventory levels, logistics performance, and operational issues.
- Provide solutions to operational challenges and identify areas for improvement.
