As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a key role in optimizing our Supply Chain operations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. You will ensure supply meets business demand, while supporting efficient and profitable processes. This role requires a strong understanding of Supply Chain practices, data analytics, and reporting, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for producing high-quality analytical work, driving continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring compliance with City policies.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS:
- Proven record of the ability to analyze, model and interpret data
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP or Ariba)
- Highly experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel to analyze and interpret data
- Experience with Tableau or other Data visualization software
- Experience presenting data to management in a clear, concise, knowledgeable manner
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain practices, policies, procedures
- Proven analytical, critical thinking, decision making, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in communicating data analysis findings to management through the use of data visualization tools and other means of presenting
- Knowledge of work methods, studies and analysis procedures, practices and terminology as related to the work assigned
- Ability to create reports and tools to improve operational inefficiencies in the business area
- Understanding of and experience of simulation, modeling, operation research and statistical techniques
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions of an advanced nature combined with the ability to express ideas and concepts effectively, orally and in writing

Qualifications:
- Degree in Business with a focus in Supply Chain
- Two years diversified supply chain management experience which must include but is not limited to Inventory Management, Warehousing & Distribution, Supply Chain Planning, Operational Purchasin
Responsibilities:
- Using knowledge of supply chain and supply chain systems, responsible for extracting, collating and creating reports from CoE ERP system, and relevant data sources, ensuring data is presented in a clear, concise & actionable manner
- Connect with the various areas across the city to collect, validate and integrate data that impacts or is impacted by supply chain
- Compile statistical presentations to provide updated data to support quarterly and yearly performance reporting
- Coordinate and assemble all operational support reports from system data extracts including but not limited to KPI reports, and other reports as required that cover the comprehensive Supply Chain Management process
- Methodically review, analyze and interpret various data sets and make recommendations for improvement as related to the work assigned
- Responsible for assembling and interpreting data, analyzing performance, identifying problems and the development of recommendations and tools which support the Category Management processes and methodology
- Methodically review, analyze and interpret data to define and redefine KPI’s to support supplier performance management processes
- Manage and interpret inventory and purchasing reports to identify additions, and optimization opportunities to existing contracts or opportunities to introduce new categories
- Other related responsibilities
