QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or another related supply chain field.
- 5+ years of experience working in a production planning, inventory, or supply chain role required.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel with excellent quantitative and data analysis skills.
- Team and people oriented, professional and displays a “can-do“ attitude.
- ERP planning experience required, SAP preferred
Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Planner works out of our Canadian offices in Cambridge, ON or Langley, BC and reports to the Supply Chain Director.
This individual will be responsible for successfully leading and communicating supply plan to operations and achieving our on-time and in-full in supporting customer orders and/or stocking requirements.
Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Production Planning: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for the FUCHS Canada blending facilities, taking into consideration factors such as customer demand, production capacity, and resource availability.
- Collaborate with 3rd party site operations to coordinate production, maintain inventory and facilitate process improvement initiatives with Toll Blenders.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and trends, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales teams to gather and analyze demand forecasts, incorporating market trends and customer feedback into production plans.
- Order Coordination: Coordinate with toll blenders, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, providing updates on production schedules, inventory levels, and potential risks or delays.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools and software to assess production and inventory performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Capacity Planning: Assess production capacity and constraints, working with manufacturing teams to optimize efficiency and throughput.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in production and inventory management to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
