JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director of Supply Chain Management, the Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), and interfaces with other information systems throughout the organization, all in a manner consistent with Hospital Information System policy.
In addition, the Supply Chain Analyst provides direct support for the supply chain staff for managing data integrity and system updates, maintaining of all Supply Chain related IT tools including Hand Held devices to support daily operations. Runs queries and provides data and reports to support accurate business decisions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working in an MMIS as well as compatible hardware and software preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience purchasing, contracting, GPO, and GHX preferably in a hospital environment.
License Required: Maintain a current California Class C driver’s license and meet all Hospital Risk Management requirements, including no moving violations within one year.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to succeed in an environment with shifting priorities and changing deadlines. Ability to multi-task. Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and accuracy of information; Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital. Knowledge of supply chain, purchasing practices and medical products desired. Complex level skills involving ratios, percentages and graphic presentation.
Technical Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). MMIS System experience.

Lift/Push/Pull: 25 lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment
