We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team.
The successful candidates will deliver a high level of supply chain excellence in a fast paced, dynamic environment. A key requirement of the role includes creating partnerships with suppliers and commercial teams to maximise retailer availability and performance.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating collaborative planning and forecasting with suppliers and commercial teams within a defined range of products in order to continually improve forecasting accuracy to meet commercial needs
  • Proactively participate in SKU portfolio management best practice with aim of reducing complexity on stock ordering to maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Accountable for maintaining forecasting history and sharing information with suppliers on time
  • Analysing trends and opportunity`s in our supply chain network
  • Measure and manage supplier`s performance in line with key performance indicators
  • Maintain data integrity on Demand Planning system to ensure stock flows accurately through network
  • Work with internal logistics team to ensure supplier compliance from, but not limited to stock integrity, shelf life, goods in activity and transport queries
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements of the business including but not limited to Continuous Improvement initiatives and business process improvements including standardisation of work processes.

Please note, this is a 9 - 12 month Contract.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent business experience
  • Commercially astute and able to maintain and improve business targets
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience within a demand planning / forecasting role
  • Strong numerical ability and a high level of computer skills including MS Excel. And ERP systems eg. SAP, Oracle, SCM
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills
  • Yellow Belt Qualification / understanding of lean practices
  • Ability to challenge the views of others in a constructive manner to bring about positive change and drive results
  • This position calls for a team player with a high degree of enthusiasm, coupled with the ability to achieve results and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must be able to work weekends as required on a flexible rota basis
