THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Goodyear Mounting Solutions in Luxembourg.

EDUCATION:

Apprenticeship in logistics or supply chain (a Bachelor is preferred).
Languages:
Fluency in English AND French is a must. A third language is an asset (especially Portuguese or German).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Working experience in supply chain is desired. For candidates from university at least respective internship is expected.
  • Experience in multinational environment is considered as an advantage.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills / strong communicator / team player / stress resistant
  • PC literacy (SAP / MS Office, Excel)
  • High level of independence, structure and self-organization in the daily work is a must.
  • Analytical skills / problem solving/ decision making focused
  • Ability and interest to work in international / multicultural environment
  • High level of service- and customer orientation

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

  • Supply Chain Coordinator: Coordination of supply chain processes to assigned OEMs in line with customer requirements and Goodyear’s process guidelines and strategy.
  • Customer Centric Supply Chain: First point of contact for customer inquiries regarding customer demands, product availability, delivery flow and supply chain related complaints.
  • One Team: Strong collaboration with OE sales and other functional areas to deliver operational excellence according to the one team philosophy. Be aware of the wider business environment.
  • One Goodyear Way: Follow defined standards and guidelines and propose improvements in line with S&OP Class A mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily order and shipment management: Reconciling incoming EDI orders and start corrective actions, if necessary. Inform customer within defined timeframe if demand cannot be fulfilled. Create and book picking lists. Organize and book shipments to OEMs
  • Inventory tracking: Secure replenishment process to GMS (consignment stock) to secure final lag just-in-time supply to respective OEMs.
  • Collaborative Planning: Contribute to collaborative planning with OEMs in order to improve the stock level and order fulfillment rate.Manage inbound flow of materials for production process, manage outbound with GY SC OE and shipping team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Improve services and processes to meet and exceed internal requirements and customers’s expectations.
  • Build Talents and Teams: Continuously develop individual skills according to development plan. Contribute to best practice transfer and improvement of overall supply chain performance. Support team members. Contribute to projects.
