ABOUT LUMON PRODUCTION

Lumon Production is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This key role will oversee inventory management, inter-company purchasing, and the logistical flow of materials, ensuring efficient operations and timely deliveries. The Supply Chain Coordinator will work closely with production, accounting, and external suppliers to meet company goals and maintain high service levels. This position is pivotal in balancing both the operational flow on the floor and the strategic management of inventory, ensuring optimal levels to meet production demands.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar supply chain, logistics, or inventory management role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, procurement processes, and inventory control.
  • Proficient in logistics coordination, transportation management, and shipping regulations for both domestic and international markets.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations)) and inventory management software.
  • Familiarity with lean supply chain methodologies like Kanban, Kaizen, Just-in-Time (JIT), Six Sigma, and 5S.
  • Experience purchasing and managing inventory of glass and aluminum products.
  • Experience working on the production floor, with an understanding of how inventory management supports day-to-day production operations

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows, with the ability to adapt to and learn new software systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
