WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Supply Chain Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be based out of our Manufacturing Facility located in Etobicoke, ON and requires candidates to work 5-days a week on-site.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • 2+ years of experience working within a manufacturing environment as a Supply Chain Financial Analyst
  • Experience working in a Standard Costing Environment with understanding of Cost Accounting
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • CPA designation or working toward
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Power BI (or similar)

Responsibilities:

  • Work with supply chain team to develop annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts
  • Perform SOX compliance activities for the supply chain team and support internal and external audit activities
  • Research, review and analyze key supply chain metrics and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Complete month end close activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, management reports
  • Work with Logistics to maintain accurate freight tables and accruals
  • Provide financial support to the Supply Chain Management team including warehousing, logistics and procurement
  • Ensure accurate standard cost of materials and complete purchase price variance reports with supporting analysis highlight risks and opportunities to budget/forecast
  • Ensure inventory valuation is complete and accurate and includes thorough investigation of obsolescence, slow moving and inventory at risk
  • Provide timely financial reports with analysis of variances from budget/standard costs
  • Provide financial analysis in support of capital expenditure requests and Provide financial oversight of physical inventory counts and cycle counts ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Monitor inventory levels and provide insights and recommendations for optimization
