Description:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING, REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS):

  • Knowledge and detailed understanding of SAP especially around SAP Material Management / SAP Logistic Execution, Demand and Replenishment processes
  • Record of success in supply chain, distribution or logistics management
  • Strong business/financial acumen and analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Self-management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communicator, ability to influence broadly
  • Interpersonal effectiveness - able to understand different viewpoints and resolve issues in a constructive manner; able to operate successfully in an international, multicultural environment
  • Customer focused, flexible and adaptable, persistent in discovering root causes, able to deal with ambiguity and multiple priorities
  • University Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a Commercial discipline (alternatively, CPIM certified or in progress) or applicable experience

Responsibilities:

FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, TASKS:

Inventory Management for affiliates in EMEA region covering:

  • On regular basis running inventory discrepancy reports for EMEA LSP’s identifying differences between Elanco SAP and LSP system
  • Working with each LSP, and all related functions in EMEA (O2C, Quality, Finance, Affiliate Supply Chain, IT etc.) to investigate, analyse and resolve inventory differences by executing and leading changes in LSP and/or Elanco system and to ensure this leading weekly call mechanisms to connect with all functions
  • Identifying underlying root causes for differences and driving corrective actions, identifying opportunities for process improvement and improvements on data accuracy
  • Initiating preventive actions based on current data analysis to drive continuous improvement and achieve process excellence.
  • Creating regular reports on inventory discrepancy status, summarize and escalate issues to higher management on a monthly basis
  • Coordinating and owning SOX controls for Inventory Management activities and making sure all controls are submitted on time and with 100% accuracy with related documentation
  • Inventory reconciliation (each monthly / quarter end for respective affiliate - LSP)
  • Sensitive moving usage, MIGO
  • Coordinating regular scrapping activities across affiliates from a system perspective
  • Daily iDoc monitoring, resolving and tracking iDocs related with Inventory Management
  • Liaising closely and build networks with ESC / Distribution / iDoc Analyst to support troubleshooting of IM and iDoc related issues.
  • Working closely with Distribution Coordinator for Cycle Counts or year-end counts for all EMEA affiliate plants / LSP’s to do necessary adjustments in system and keep needed documentation and give support.
