Description:
THE POSITION

As a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist, you will be working on driving and growing Hive’s freight business. You’ll be based in our centrally located Berlin office. As part of this role, you will:
- Scale our freight business in line with our customers’ requirements
- Own our freight operations by planning and creating processes with clear documentation. Identify improvement opportunities in our operational processes, drive their implementation and scale them globally
- Manage relevant external and internal stakeholders and own our partnerships end-to-end with freight providers
- Monitor and manage our logistics processes, including customs clearance.
- Booking and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficient and timely transportation.
- Actively participating in the packaging process, ensuring products are securely packed for transit.
- Contacting and liaising with couriers to facilitate smooth pickups and deliveries.
- Taking charge of tracking inbound and outbound shipments to provide real-time updates.
- Preparation of shipping documents for customs clearance, ensuring compliance with import and export regulations.
- Check delivery documents, enter delivery data into our software and create transport and customs documents.
- Support with the processing of exports so that our customers outside the EU receive their packages on time.
- Proactive problem-solving to ensure we meet customer expectations and going above and beyond if issues arise as well as complaint handling
- Be a role model for your colleagues by completing your tasks effectively and with a high level of quality awareness.
