Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management within the food industry
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of UK food regulations and industry best practices

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
  • Optimise inventory levels, lead times, and transportation costs
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Collaborate with Commercial teams to forecast demand accurately
  • Forecast labour plans to ensure they are reflective of customer demand
  • Ensure the departments’ material variances are controlled and continuously improved
  • Coordinate transport, warehousing, and distribution activities
  • Optimise delivery routes and minimise transport costs
  • Work closely with quality control teams to maintain product quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and certifications
  • Liaise cross functionally to support customer service decisions
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement
