The Supply Chain Portfolio Development team is responsible for guiding the development of the KDP Supply Chain Long Range Plan to drive maximum returns on invested capital and consistency with the overall business strategy. This position is responsible for building and maintaining the KDP Supply Chain capital investment portfolio that encompasses capital projects within the 3-10 year time horizon. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has the ability influence across all functions within the supply chain at the leadership level.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field of study.
  • Demonstrated ability to analysis risk and interdependencies across multiple large scale, capital projects
  • Must be able to create high-quality professional MS PowerPoint presentations and have the ability to construct results that “tell a story” that can influence key decisions with facts
  • Prior experience with SAP, data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.), project management software (Planview, Confluence, etc.) and Think-cell software is preferred
  • Flexible and able to push forward required decisions despite ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Detailed and deadline-orientated to meet regular and periodic needs of the business
  • High level of attention to detail and strong capability to review & sense-check results to ensure accuracy
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Ability to interact & collaborate comfortably with other teams and at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to follow KDP policies and procedures as well as our Value

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and maintain a 3-10 year capital investment portfolio for all supply chain value generating projects over $1M dollars in spend
  • Develop and maintain a regular portfolio review cadence that provides the ability for leaders to understand the forecasted health of supply chain capital investments
  • Maintain a target return on invested capital and provide recommendations on project prioritization if project delays impact the portfolio target
  • Validate formal business case assumptions for supply chain projects, summarizing interdependencies and risks between initiatives into concise presentation materials for executive review
  • Gain stakeholder alignment on key decisions and clearly define action plans once a decision is made
  • Collaborate with team members across the organization to ensure all relevant “subject matter experts” have provided input
