  • Min. 10-15 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management (warehousing, distribution, logistics)
  • At least 5 years in team leadership roles

  • Commercially Savvy
  • Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management skills
  • Relevant experience in Inbound Materials Management

Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Manager has 3 key areas of accountability

  • Ensuring Logistics and Warehousing operations is managed in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance to applicable Shell policies, industry standards and compliant with international, national and local workplace legislation.
  • Materials demand planning which looks at Materials on Time/In Full, inventory optimization, maximizing value on surplus and dormant inventory through a robust investment recovery program and ensuring inventory accounting /valuation is up to date and accurate.
  • Leading the Equipment and Material category, which includes both category and contract management responsibilities.

Role Description

  • You will be responsible for transforming our warehouse and logistics operations across our sites located on Bukom and Singapore Jurong Island
  • You will develop the annual operating plan/budget and manage spend to plan for warehousing and logistics for both Bukom and SJI.
  • You will work closely with Finance to develop annual capital programs for our warehouse infrastructures.
  • You will be responsible for developing fit for purpose warehouse, logistics and inbound material metrics to measure performance.
  • You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement opportunities
  • You will be responsible for managing the replenishment of stocks as well as the sourcing for critical equipment for our sites
  • You will be responsible for the safety performance for warehousing & logistics operations.
  • Lead a team 3 team members; Accountable for personal development team and contractor staff.
  • You will be required to interface and work with/through many stakeholders and is required to demonstrate mastery in communication and stakeholder management skills.
