PROGRAM OVERVIEW

McKesson’s Intern program is 10-12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supply Chain Operations Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management, process improvement, and business analysis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing key performance indicators (KPIs) across various business functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Six Sigma training or certification is a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to host and facilitate workshops, engage stakeholders, and drive consensus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze current processes, workflows, and business practices to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.

Support KPI (Key Performance Indicator) Improvement:

  • Monitor and enhance KPIs related to supply chain operations, including Lines Per Person Hour (LPPH), cost per line, breakage rates, inventory adjustments, and maintenance scorecards.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve KPI performance and achieve operational targets.

Collaborate on Leadership Workshops

  • Support the facilitation of leadership workshops to identify facility needs and develop actionable steps to address them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives and track progress.
