AT A GLANCE

  • Flexible working - This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the Bracknell Head Office.
  • Salary range - £39,400 - £59,000
  • Contract type - 1 - Permanent and 1 - FTC (up to 12 months)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Experience in Supply Chain Reporting and data analysis in a complex, Grocery retailer
  • An analytical approach and strong understanding of the logic behind key planning metrics (Sales (volume & value), Margin, Stockholding, Waste, Capacity Utilisation) as well as the consideration of supply chain cost implications
  • Continuous improvement in complex, Grocery supply chain
  • Drawing insights from analysis and making recommendations, providing constructive challenge where needed
  • Leading & managing complex, cross-functional work streams and driving results and performance
  • Experience using SQL and large structured databases to deliver insight to stakeholders
  • Experience creating multi-table Tableau data sources and Tableau workbooks.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience using the Snowflake Data Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work closely with the Supply Chain Optimisation Manager and provide analytical support driving insights to support the Supply Chain optimisation activities. Your responsibilities include:
Reporting, Insights & Challenge: Providing analytical support for the Supply Chain reporting on behalf of Waitrose, including developing and creating reports that cover volumes (actual/plan/forecast/budget/last year), daily forecasts and variances. Undertaking the data analysis required to identify any delta, surface insights, risks and opportunities
Cost to Serve: Provide analytical support in managing, maintaining and developing the cost-to-serve model, performing data analysis to understand the profitability of certain initiatives and drawing insight from this data
Supply Chain Data: Support the Sales & Operational Planning Reporting Lead and Supply Chain Reporting Manager in their roles to drive high quality Supply Chain data, analysing where data is high quality or not, supporting processes to maintain it
Supply Chain Availability: Support the Sales & Operational Planning & Reporting Lead and Supply Chain Reporting Manager in their roles to drive clarity of availability metrics. Responsible for the data analysis required to support the availability working group as needed
Supplier Compliance & Performance: Support the Supplier Compliance & Performance activities, providing analytical support to promote better supplier performance and compliance monitoring.
