Description:

We are in the process of recruiting a Supply Chain Planner, to be part of our team in the manufacturing in Lansing, Michigan. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for planning and managing production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for efficient supply chain planning. • Use IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Excel for maintaining and analyzing data related to supply chain processes. • Leverage skills in Microsoft Office Suites and About Time for planning and scheduling production processes. • Deliver exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly. • Ensure timely deliveries by coordinating with other departments and implementing efficient delivery schedules. • Maintain and manage all necessary documentation related to the supply chain process. • Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions based on account status. • Stay updated about customs regulations and ensure compliance in all processes. • Regularly review the performance of supply chain processes and implement improvements as necessary. • Coordinate with team members to achieve collective goals and contribute towards the efficient functioning of the manufacturing unit.
  • Proven experience in a Supply Chain Planner role within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in using ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems and ERP Solutions
  • Knowledge of IBM AS/400, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites
  • Familiarity with time management software About Time
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Understanding of customs procedures and regulations
  • Experience in managing deliveries and coordinating with logistics teams
  • Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
