Inviting applications for the role of Supply Chain Planning – Assistant Manager – English – Hybrid Katowice
Responsibilities
IOPS Team Leader will lead planning teams, and his responsibilities will include, but not limit to:

Category Performance Ownership

  • Weekly performance review – SLA metrics, Kanban actions, in process measures (MD Hygiene)
  • Ensuring that actions assigned to planners are completed on time.
  • Summarizing top issues for other stakeholders (GP LT)

Business Escalation Handling

  • Manage day to day issues and escalations effectively as the 1stlevel of resolution on category level.
  • Providing clear action plans and resolution,
  • Tracking and closing defined actions.
  • Provide directions to team members.
  • Checking performance of direct reports and providing support to quickly close existing gaps – Weekly KPI review and follow up on key actions, development of control points to support flawless execution of daily activities (transitions, forecast deviations) and utilization of existing ones (MSP/DP Hygiene)
  • Conducting 1-1 sessions with direct reports to influence planner upskilling, growth and development,
  • Managing back up and holiday structure
  • Consolidating risk on the category level,
  • Attending meetings in line with daily/weekly governance
  • Supporting team on basic issues resolution
  • Sharing best practices across team to ensure full systems utilization
  • Responsible for system outage escalations
  • Gathering monthly performance inputs
  • Driving and ensuring closure of 5 why analysis on top issues
  • Follow up on the actions to improve SLA measures
  • Monitoring weekly performance and highlighting reoccurring issues
  • Calling out process gaps
  • Co-creation of action plan with support of manager
  • Sensing across the planners for potential areas for standardization and harmonization
  • Supporting change management of standardization/CI projects

Ownership of small portfolio (up to 15%) to ensure up to date awareness of processes and hands on experience.
3rd/4th level back up in case of unexpected absences
Supporting Managers with any ad-hoc actions, requests and initiatives
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • University degree (minimum Bachelor)
  • Strong communication in English – both oral and written skills. Ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management and peers,
  • Experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management or supply/operations planning is preferred
  • Previous leadership experience will be an asset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong process development, improvement and implementation experience
  • Self-motivated and independent personality with strong negotiation & problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of supply chain and supply planning business drivers, organization structures and key metrics
  • Well-developed interpersonal / communication skills
  • Working knowledge of any of the ERP systems like SAP, Kinaxis etc.
  • Excel advanced skills and general knowledge about Power BI
