Your Role and Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Solution Engineer will support solution definition, design, and development for Federal clients in support of IBM Consulting supply chain transformation offering business development, including intelligent supply chain platforms, asset and facilities optimization, supply chain risk management, business process operations, and sustainability. S/he will design, develop and implement customer-facing solutioning sessions leveraging IBM Enterprise Design Thinking and Garage Methologies and synthesize inputs into white papers, concept notes, and/or proposals to drive continuous value for clients through innovation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience or a masters degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain
  • Experience in business development
  • A demonstrable track record of documenting business requirements and developing supply chain solutions based on those requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, including ability to effectively communicate in verbal, written, and presentation formats
  • A strong command of visual communication tools and an attention to detail
  • Eligibility for Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) through Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or SAFe Agile Certification
  • Industry and/or market knowledge of semi-conductors
  • Experience working with commercial SCRM tools
  • Experience working with Federal or commercial supply chains
  • Experience in national security, defense, and/or intelligence
  • Active USG Security Clearance Top Secret Preferred

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
