Description:
The post holder is responsible for providing Supervisory and Administrative Support within the Warehouse based in our Regional Warehouse At Newport.
The main responsibility is to oversee and supervise all data input of requests for stock via the Oracle Warehouse Management System [WMS] system whilst adhering to the Business’ ISO/Quality framework.
Staff
Supervising the warehouse team, assigning tasks, training new workers, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Coordinating with other departments to streamline warehouse activities and improve efficiency
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This will involve sets of daily tasks to be undertaken in a range of duties such as; managerial support to the shift managers and warehouse manager, dealing with all aspects of Warehouse duties, including , Assigning tasks, training new staff, and disciplining staff when necessary, Oracle WMS System and whilst adhering to the Business’ ISO/Quality framework.
Maintaining a safe working environment, conducting health and safety audits, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained, liaising with warehouse staff,.
Working with other departments to streamline warehouse activities and improve efficiency where possible.
