Job Description
Based in our Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong or Brisbane offices, the Supply Chain Sustainability Analyst is a member of the Corporate Supply Chain Sustainability Team, reporting to the Supply Chain Sustainability Manager.
This newly create role supports our global business units to deliver on our Supply Chain Sustainability Strategy and contributing to corporate reporting and disclosure and is responsible for contributing towards the continuous improvement of BlueScope’s supply chain sustainability and responsible sourcing program.

Responsibilities:

You will contribute to BlueScope’s strategic objectives by:

  • Providing support to Business Unit Teams on the effective operation of their supply chain sustainability and responsible sourcing programs.
  • Coordinate and progress the delivery of BlueScope’s supply chain sustainability and responsible sourcing program.
  • Maintain data to track and report on business unit progress on KPIs
  • Provide analysis and insight into global developments in relevant supply chain sustainability topics that may impact on BlueScope’s program and reporting requirements
  • Support across all aspects of the Supply Chain Sustainability program, and it’s delivery through local procurement teams.
  • Management of the EcoVadis system including engagement with BUs on training and with the EcoVadis team on issues and enhancements.
  • Administrative support for the responsible sourcing and supply chain sustainability program, including daily, weekly and monthly tracking of assessment targets, EcoVadis user profile set-up and management, responsible sourcing training and supporting BU teams on audit co-ordination..

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need strong interpersonal and stakeholder management, including the ability to liaise with stakeholders across all areas of our business, and a passion for sustainability and human rights.

  • Other skills include:
  • Experience in responsible sourcing or sustainability
  • 2-5 years’ experience working in a professional environment - working for NGOs or civil rights organisations highly regarded.
  • Highly organised and have experience managing/coordinating multiple streams of work while juggling stakeholder expectations across an organisation.
  • Excellent communicator; both written and verbal. A key part of this role is to support drafting reports, presentations and communication with key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Proactive individual who is curious, wants to learn and can pick up subject matter quickly.
