To further strengthen our commercial supply chain team, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Systems Lead to drive the optimization and implementation of strategic supply chain systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management in the biotech/pharma industry and a strong technical background in supply chain systems.
This position offers a unique opportunity to support the build out and shape a global supply chain infrastructure for innovative pharmaceutical products.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Drive the vision, roadmap, priorities, and development opportunities for the supply chain systems, leveraging technology to streamline processes.
  • Lead the implementation of new supply chain systems, e.g. planning system (Anaplan, Oracle, Kinaxis) in close collaboration with supply chain SMEs, finance and selected implementation partner, starting from gathering and analysis of business requirements, translation into system requirements, through testing until go-live and maintenance.
  • Business Owner for the Supply Chain systems. Center of excellence – go-to person for e.g. TraceLink, planning system, Oracle ERP, TMS, … Close collaboration with business stakeholders in defining and improving processing with a key focus on leveraging system capabilities to support business needs.
  • For GxP systems, in close collaboration with QA and the BIS/IT validation team, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintenance in a validated state – develop lean lifecycle management approach.
  • Conduct risk assessment and develop mitigation and contingency plans related to the supply chain systems.
  • Develop procedures and trainings to support a seamless end-user experience.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for system usage and data management

Qualifications and skills:

  • Strong technical background and proven experience with supply chain systems (planning, serialization, ERP, ..).
  • Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills to successfully lead the implementation of supply chain systems.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Science, Information systems or Supply Chain Management.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders - team player with an analytical mindset and deliver-oriented focus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. GMP) related to system implementation and maintenance in biotech/pharma.
  • Flexibility in combination with a proactive mindset.
