As the Team Lead in our rapidly growing Supply Chain team, your primary role will be to guide and support the team through a dynamic period of transformation. With the team having significantly expanded in recent years and an ambitious strategy for business growth in the coming years, you will play a key part in ensuring operational continuity while driving innovation and process improvements. Your leadership will be critical in fostering collaboration, enhancing efficiency, and aligning the team with broader business goals, as we navigate this exciting phase of growth and evolution within our supply chain operations. The key responsibilities are but not limited to:

Service and Cost Management

  • Lead the replenishment team to achieve operational objectives while proactively supporting the development and implementation of initiatives that enhance customer service.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure timely updates to key stakeholders.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance working capital and service level requirements.
  • Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities by improving replenishment processes and optimizing inbound and outbound product flow.
  • Cultivate strong supplier relationships to continuously improve service performance.
  • Collaborate with the CDC Operations and Transport teams to drive efficiency in inbound scheduling, space optimization, and supplier performance.
  • Work closely with the Trading team to enhance supplier service levels.
  • Support Sales and Customer Service teams by addressing and resolving customer queries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of internal reports to monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Actively contribute to supply chain and cross-functional projects aimed at operational excellence.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to achieve best-in-class service levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management in support of business objectives.

People Management

  • Provide leadership in sustaining and enhancing the Supply Chain engagement framework to foster a high-performing team and boost employee engagement and participation.
  • Set clear team goals and objectives in alignment with the Personal Development Review process, and conduct timely performance reviews.
  • Lead and inspire replenishment planners to meet and exceed operational objectives.
  • Drive the professional development of reorder planners, identifying and addressing training needs to enhance skills and performance.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve work processes and methodologies for increased efficiency.
  • Manage planner capacity effectively, including holiday scheduling and coverage planning, to ensure smooth operations.

Experience, Skills and Education:

Essential Qualifications

  • A relevant third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, or Lean methodologies.

Essential Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior operational team management within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong people management and engagement skills, with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, including MS Office and advanced MS Excel skills.
