Job Description:
Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as a Supply Chain Tech II at our Ingalls Memorial Center. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
Responsible for distributing and issuing daily supplies, linen, mail, and incoming shipments for the entire facility. Other duties may include receiving stock and delivering to ordering units, filling linen carts, performing courier routes, as well as working directly in CPD.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience and Training: 2-4 years’ experience in the same or closely related position familiar with inventory control, Lawson, or similar applications
- Understanding of the inventory function in a distribution environment. Computer literacy is also required along with interpersonal skills with all levels of people within the organization.
