An exciting opportunity for a Supply Demand Planner has become available on the EMEIA Supply Demand Management team! This team sits in the wider Operations team, based at Apple’s European HQ in Cork, Ireland! The Supply Demand Management (SDM) team are responsible for end-to-end product planning for the EMEIA market, ensuring that all of our products are in the right place, at the right time, in order to ensure our customers can avail of our products when and where they need to. Our SDM team collaborate with many cross-functional teams including Logistics, Reseller Operations, Manufacturing and Finance.

DESCRIPTION

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a balanced supply across the EMEIA region, driving efficiency and excellence. - Strategize and execute inventory replenishment plans to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce obsolescence. - Lead production planning to align factory outputs with market demand, ensuring sufficient supply across all distribution channels. - Analyse demand patterns and forecast trends using statistical tools, capturing the latest market intelligence. - Coordinate and oversee supply movements across factories and regional hubs, guaranteeing efficient availability. - Track and report KPIs and metrics to continuously assess and improve supply chain performance. - Build positive relationships with key partners (Sales, Finance, Global Teams, Logistics, etc.) to ensure alignment and collaboration. - Communicate effectively with internal and external partners, encouraging clarity and cooperation. - Identify and implement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes and systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, good at leveraging data and tools to drive informed decisions.

  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of building and cultivating positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, demonstrating high initiative and a strong sense of accountability.Skilled in presenting complex analytics to executive audiences, making data-driven insights accessible and actionable.

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel.
  • Cultivate positive relationships and foster trust and confidence from others.
  • Significant years of experience in supply chain OR in an analytical role in FMCG or equivalent industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Maths, Economics, Data Science & Analytics, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant experience in a similar role is also highly valued.
