Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the CI and Quality Manager, as the Supply Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the supply development of the business, from tendering through development, product introduction and series manufacturing.
You will be responsible for developing a partnership with our suppliers to ensure there is an aligned approach and will continuously monitor and evaluate the supplier performance and internal business performance.
The support provided from the Supply Development Engineer will be effective in achieving excellent customer satisfaction.
Based at our manufacturing site in Colwick, Nottingham, you’ll be employed on a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week.

What will I need to be considered for this opportunity?

  • Experience in a similar quality or engineering role
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Have an in depth understanding of the IATF 16949 standard.
  • A broad understanding of specifications and quality requirements.
  • Competent in the use of Laboratory, inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Competent in the use of statistical data and problem-solving techniques.
  • Able to read and understanding drawings
  • Good computer literacy and Microsoft office skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and able to build and maintain constructive and positive relationships.
