About the job
We are looking for a person who will join Danone’s Planning Center in Katowice as a Supply Execution Planning Senior Team Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Creating and overseeing key production plans, adapting them to changing market demands and available resources,
- Building, leading and developing your Team as effective and emphatic leader,
- Executing operational tasks in assigned facilities, addressing issues related to demand and supply imbalances, analyzing root causes, and taking corrective actions,
- Planning various production scenarios, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize delivery allocation across the network, considering all constraints,
- Ensuring a high level of customer service by maintaining product availability in the short term and minimizing finished goods losses. Setting service level standards based on established goals,
- Making decisions regarding non-profitable inventory and globally optimizing inventory within the supply chain,
- Initiating and leading projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency, identifying and eliminating constraints. Ensuring effective collaboration between teams and acting as an escalation point both internally and in supplier relations.
About you
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (FMCG industry preferred),
- Good level of English (B2/C1) is a must, other European languages would be an asset,Strong team management and task delegation skills,
- Ability to build effective connections with European factories,
- Practical ability to handle crisis situations (e.g., stock shortages),
- High resilience to stress and ability to work under pressure.

The team you will be working with is the Danone Planning Center (DPC), a newly opened, technologically advanced competency center located in Katowice. DPC is responsible for supply chain planning for fresh dairy, plant-based products, specialized nutrition and first diet from Nutricia. Covering all European countries, this innovative hub utilizes cutting-edge technology to optimize and revolutionize planning processes. With its advanced technological solutions, DPC would play a key role in ensuring supply chain efficiency across the continent.
