Supply Network Planner (m/f/d) Pharma

Join our dynamic global team dedicated to optimizing supply chain activities within our Operational Unit Pharma. We are looking for a proactive and analytical individual with a strong background in supply chain management, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
Your assignments

• Independently analyze, optimize, and steer supply chain activities within our global production network
• Identify supply gaps and proactively find solutions to manage constraints, collaborating closely with production sites and sales regions
• Support the development of supply strategies for our product portfolio
• Coordinate and consolidate various capacity increase projects as part of strategic initiatives
• Participate in the monthly Sales-Review Process and represent OpU Supply Chain in the monthly S&OP cycle
• Allocate products across alternative production plants
• Lead and support projects, including API switches, container switches, and product transfers (e.g., US transfers)
• Assist in implementing advanced planning tools (IBP Response & Supply)
• Act as an escalation point in case of supply interruptions or communication issues
• Provide strong support to production plants during crisis situations and act as a key contact for regions, production units, and management on supply-related topics

Your profile

• Successfully completed university degree in Economics, Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in supply chain management. Experience in project management or related functions, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
• Ability to develop Supply Chain concepts and steer their execution in an international and decentral environment
• Understanding of pharmaceutical markets and supply chain management in the pharmaceutical sector
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex situations clearly to all management levels
• Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken. Additional language skills are a plus
• Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SAP IBP, APO, PP, MM, or other advanced planning systems is a plus
• Experience working in intercultural environments and willingness to travel internationally (up to 6 times per year)
