Employment Term: Permanant Full-Time
Location: Brisbane Metro Hospital sites (The Wesley in Auchenflower and St Andrews in Spring Hill)
Remuneration: $28.78 p/hour + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team
As a Supply Officer, you will be accountable for ensuring storage locations are replenished according to their agreed levels and proactively identifying if levels require adjustment, receiving and putting away of goods as well as distributing goods to their final destination.

Working across both Brisbane Metro Hospital sites (The Wesley in Auchenflower and St Andrews in Spring Hill), this role will also be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring safe handling, storage and distribution of goods at the metro docks
  • Receipting deliveries on-system accurately, and identifying discrepancies on orders
  • Transferring and storing items correctly, identifying hazardous, temperature sensitive, and urgent deliveries
  • Operating mechanical and manual handling equipment in accordance with operator instructions and safe working practices
  • Resolve stakeholder enquiries relating to supply, and escalate more complex issues as appropriate
  • Ensure stock is rotated according to expiry dates and out of date stock is removed from point of use

What makes a difference for us?

  • 1+ years’ experience working in a supply environment
  • Experience operating mechanical and manual handling equipment in accordance with operator instructions and safe working practices
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of safe working practices and confidence to escalate concerns
  • Current LF (forklift) License - desirable
