  • Oracle and Slim-Stock experience highly regarded.
  • 5+ years of experience in Inventory and demand planning.
  • Experience in using CRM in a disciplined manner
  • Hands-on and attention to detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture.
  • Very customer focused and strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Independent worker, capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever changing environment and able to effectively deal with difficult situations.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities

Responsibilities:

Work/responsibilities regularly span multiple job families within this job group. Ensures effective and efficient management, integration and continuous improvement of Supply Chain management processes and technologies from vendors through to customers and joint venture partners. Responsible for logistics planning and forecasting needs for products and services as well as distribution plans. Responsible for selecting and establishing vendor relationships and obtaining the desired value as well as defining and implementing strategy and process changes that improve turnaround times for optimal procurement of goods and services. Accountable for keeping the correct amount of stock in the Warehouse at the correct time. Import/export roles with responsibility for the efficient and economical movement of goods (e.g., materials, products, equipment) in accordance with organizational policies and in compliance with relevant local, country and international customs laws and processes should be assigned to this job family. This job family is intended to accommodate 1) jobs whose accountabilities span two or more job families within the job group; 2) jobs that are not covered by a defined job family within the job group; 3) managerial roles spanning more than one family that are not broad enough in scope and impact to be assigned to the Business Unit/General Management job family within the Management job group.

What You’ll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)

  • Working intimately with Oracle and Slim Stock.
  • Maintain OTD of 95%.
  • To ensure Finished Goods inventory target levels are maintained and are constantly challenged and revised to deliver cost savings.
  • Creating Purchase Orders and Internal Requisitions on source through ERP (Oracle).
  • Follow up for the execution of purchase orders placed to import/local vendors.
  • Responsible for providing product availability information to business for fulfillment of open sales orders in system.
  • Generating demand planning sheet for purchase planning purpose.
  • Confirm product are delivered as per purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with vendors
  • Manage S&OP process for the region
  • Functional supervisor for planning executives
  • Collaborate with Sales personnel to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Sites to optimize production schedules, and to adjust as required to meet demand.
  • Utilize the Enterprise Inventory Optimization (EIO) tool to reduce inventory working capital and supply chain costs by developing optimal inventory targets.
  • Develop and implement discretionary inventory build strategies to prepare for turnarounds, planned downtimes, maintenance, and manufacturing variability.
  • Lead quick response teams to proactively manage supply, quality and logistical issues, and to mitigate customer impacts.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to drive efficiency in the Supply Chain network.
  • Ensure master data accuracy and maintenance.
  • Complete ad hoc requests for data, analysis and special projects/initiatives.
